Kenyon, Sherrilyn

Summary: Susan Michael's journalistic career is ruined, so she jumps at what she is expecting to be a hot tip at a local animal shelter involving a police cover-up, and ends up with a story about vampires out to take over Seattle. Then she gets talked into adopting a cat, who turns out to be an immortal shapeshifter and vampire hunter. Soon, though, she's drawn into his dark and dangerous world.
